Miss PAT - Director

In May of 1990, I began working at Midway Learning Center as the School-Age teacher. I soon realized that this was the career that I wanted and soon obtained my Certificate in 10 and 20 hour Childcare. In 1993, after further study, I earned my Certificate in CDA (Child Development Associate). I am also certified in CPR and First Aid. In 1995, I was promoted to the position of Director of Midway Learning Center. Although I am married and blessed with two wonderful children, I feel that I have helped develop another family here at Midway between the teachers, the children and myself. I am 42 years of age and a native of Florida.

Miss POLLY

I was born and lived all of my life in Florida. I have enjoyed teaching young children for the past five years. I received my childcare certification in October of 2000. Soon after that I followed up with my Child Development Associate and graduated in May of 2002. I also received my CPR and First Aid certification. I really love working with the children in our One Year Old Class. It’s great to give and receive loving hugs from our precious little ones.

Miss LORI

On July 6th of 1992, I started working at Midway Learning Center. Previous to this, I worked nine years for a Childcare center in Gainesville, Florida during which time I received my 10 and 20 hour Childcare Certificate. In June of 1993, I received my CDA (Child Development Associate). I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I am a 42 year old native Floridian, who is married and blessed with two beautiful daughters.

Miss SUSIE

In June of 1993, I began working at Midway Learning Center where I am now the Assistant to the Director. I have my 10 and 20 hour Childcare Certificate as well as my certification in CPR and First Aid. In June of 1995, I received my CDA (Child Development Associate). My husband and I have three beautiful daughters, and are native Floridians.

Miss TINA

I began working for Midway Learning Center in June of 1994 after moving from my hometown of Tampa, Florida with my Husband and two wonderful sons. In Tampa, I spent five years working for another Childcare center until I was offered a position at a private school where I worked my way up to Assistant Director and Assistant Kindergarten Teacher. In August of 1995, I received my CDA (Child Development Associate). Previous to this, I acquired my Certificates in 10 and 20 hour Childcare, CPR and First Aid.

Miss Donna

On October of 2000 I began working at Midway Learning Center. Before working at Midway I worked at a child-care center in Hawthorne for one year. Since I have worked here I have earned my 40 hour Child Care Certificates and I have recently received my CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential. I am 34 years old and I am happily married with two sons who are star soccer players. I really enjoy the challenge of teaching pre-school children, and love living in the close-knit community of the Melrose and Keystone Heights area.
